Day 1: Arrival in Rishikesh – Drive to Barkot (190 KM / 7–8 Hrs)
Start your spiritual journey with a morning pick-up from Rishikesh. Drive through scenic Himalayan roads towards Barkot, a peaceful town on the banks of the Yamuna River. Enjoy the picturesque landscapes of rivers, valleys, and forests along the way. On arrival, check in at your hotel, have dinner, and rest for the day ahead, preparing for the pilgrimage.
Day 2: Barkot – Janki Chatti – Yamunotri – Barkot (45 KM by Road & 6 KM Trek)
Begin early around 5–6 AM and drive to Janki Chatti. From here, embark on a 6 km trek to reach the sacred Yamunotri Temple or opt for a pony/palki ride. Take a holy dip in the warm waters of Surya Kund and perform Darshan of Goddess Yamuna. After the spiritual experience, return to Barkot for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Barkot – Uttarkashi (85 KM / 4 Hrs)
Depart for Uttarkashi after breakfast, visiting the mystical Shivgufa en route. Uttarkashi, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, is a spiritual town with ancient temples. Check in at the hotel, enjoy some leisure time, and in the evening, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple for Darshan. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 KM / 4 Hrs)
Start early at 5–6 AM to reach Gangotri via the beautiful Harshil Valley. Perform Puja and take a holy dip in the Ganges at the origin of the sacred river. Witness the serene surroundings of the Gangotri Glacier and enjoy Darshan at the temple. Return to Uttarkashi for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (220 KM / 8–9 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi, a town famous for its spiritual significance. En route, enjoy scenic views of the Bhagirathi and Mandakini rivers. Check in at the hotel upon arrival, relax, have dinner, and prepare for the Kedarnath journey the next day.
Day 6: Guptkashi – Kedarnath (30 KM by Road & 16 KM Trek)
Begin at 4–5 AM for the trek to Kedarnath, or choose a helicopter ride (extra cost). Visit the sacred Kedarnath Temple, perform Puja, and attend the evening Aarti. Experience the divine energy of one of Lord Shiva’s holiest shrines. Return to Guptkashi by trek or helicopter for an overnight stay.
Day 7: Kedarnath – Guptkashi (Return Journey)
Start early for morning Puja and Darshan at Kedarnath. Explore nearby areas and soak in the Himalayan serenity. After completing your spiritual activities, return to Guptkashi for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Guptkashi – Joshimath (144 KM / 5–6 Hrs)
Depart for Joshimath after breakfast. Joshimath serves as a gateway to Badrinath and other Himalayan destinations. On arrival, check in at your hotel, enjoy local sightseeing, and relax in the serene environment. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9: Joshimath – Badrinath – Joshimath (40 KM / 2 Hrs)
Begin early to reach Badrinath, one of the four Char Dhams. Take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund, perform Darshan at the Badrinath Temple, and visit nearby attractions including Mata Murty Temple, Bhim Pul, Vyas Gufa, Narad Kund, and Mana Village. Return to Joshimath for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Joshimath – Rishikesh (250 KM / 7–8 Hrs) – Tour Conclusion
After breakfast, drive back to Rishikesh. Stop at Devprayag, the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers, and soak in the spiritual atmosphere. The Char Dham Yatra concludes upon arrival in Rishikesh, where you can plan onward travel or departures.
